Homeownership For Entrepreneurs Class

I am happy to share that I am offering a free training class with my trusted colleague, Jeree Hindi Tomasi, Senior Loan Officer with New Mexico Mortgage Advisors, on Wednesday March 26 from 12pm-1pm at the WESST Enterprise Center in Albuquerque. We are both passionate about working with New Mexican families to achieve their homeownership goals. The small business community is truly the backbone of our local community, so this class will focus on the unique circumstances and challenges Entrepreneurs may face on the journey toward realizing the dream of owing a home. We are excited to give back to our beloved community. If you are not familiar with the work that WESST does in and for our local Albuquerque businesses, I invite you to visit their site to learn more or find out ways to get involved.

WESST Visionary Sponsorship

I am very excited and proud to be partnering with WESST as a Visionary Sponsor. The Albuquerque Small Business and Entrepreneurial community is so very important to me and I am thrilled to be contributing to WESST to help pave the way for homeownership for Entrepreneurs. The Women’s Economic Self-Sufficiency Team dba WESST is a statewide 501(c)(3) small business assistance organization committed to supporting individuals in New Mexico who want to start a business or improve the performance of an existing one.  Founded by three women in 1989, WESST proudly targets its services to women, people of color and low-wealth New Mexicans.

Individuals and Community Leaders Coming Together to Support Small Business Growth

WESST Visionaries are a passionate group of individuals and small businesses committed to supporting local economic development through entrepreneurship. WESST Visionaries understand that starting and growing a small business takes a lot of hard work, patience and time. Success does not happen overnight. WESST Visionaries believe that anyone, irrespective of their race, color, gender or financial status – can achieve their entrepreneurial dreams if they are willing to work hard and do whatever it takes to reach business success. Each year, WESST is the proud recipient of federal funding which supports their work with women, minorities and low-income individuals. In order to access these federal funds, WESST must raise matching funds at a ratio of 1 to 1. Funds from WESST Visionary sponsorships are allocated to matching these federal funds and positively impacting economic growth.

WESST’s core services include business consulting, training, incubation and access to capital.  WESST’s role is to educate, encourage and inspire clients to achieve their business goals.
